2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a contact form on this website, we collect:

• Your name
• Your work email address
• Your industry (optional)
• The details of your enquiry, and anything else you choose to include in the message

If you contact us by email, telephone, Zalo or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever information you provide through those channels.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider and our content delivery network keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, browser and device information, the pages requested and the date and time of each request. These logs are used to operate the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.

We do not use website analytics, advertising pixels or visitor tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag and no profiling of visitors on this website.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide the information, quotation or demonstration you asked for
• Communicate with you about a project, proposal or ongoing service
• Keep records of our business correspondence
• Operate, secure and improve this website
• Comply with our legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your agreement.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form or contact us; where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you; and where we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping our website secure. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

5. Who we share information with

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. We do use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Google (Google Workspace): contact form submissions are delivered to our company mailbox, and our business email is hosted by Google.
• GoDaddy: website hosting, including server logs.
• Cloudflare: content delivery and security protection for the website.
• Google Maps and Google Fonts: our contact pages embed a Google map, and the site loads fonts served by Google. When these load, your IP address is transmitted to Google. See the Google Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Because these providers operate internationally, your data may be processed on servers outside Vietnam. We take reasonable steps to ensure providers offer an appropriate standard of protection.

6. Cookies

This website uses very few cookies, and none for advertising or analytics:

• __cf_bm, set by Cloudflare, distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic. It is a security cookie and expires after a short period.
• Language preference: if you switch between the English and Vietnamese versions of the site, a cookie may record your choice so the correct language is shown.

Embedded Google Maps content on our contact pages may set its own cookies when it loads. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

7. How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are sent to us by email and are not stored in this website's database. We keep business correspondence for as long as it is needed for the relationship it relates to, and afterwards only where required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting and security providers. If you ask us to delete your data and we have no legal reason to keep it, we will do so.

8. Your rights

Under Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection, and equivalent laws that may apply to you, you have the right to:

• Know how your personal data is being processed
• Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
• Ask us to delete your data
• Withdraw consent, or object to or restrict processing
• Complain to the competent authority if you believe your rights have been infringed

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@vinergy.vn. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Security

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, sits behind a security and bot-protection layer, and administrative access is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

10. Our platform

Our IoT platform at iot.vinergy.vn is a separate, access-controlled system used by customers under contract. Data held there is governed by the agreement between Vinergy and the relevant customer, not by this website policy.

11. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to inform you.
